You might have noticed that GeoPrac was offline for the majority of August…much to my dismay. I thought the website relaunch was off and running, but apparently, I was overusing my CPU resources according to my web host so they shut off the site. Of course, that happened as I was on vacation with my family!
I went back and forth with them for several weeks, pulling every optimization lever I could, implementing all of their suggestions, even scrapping my new layout in favor of one that would (hopefully) be more efficient. But I still exceeded that CPU cap. So I finally had to upgrade to a new hosting plan. But their servers were back-ordered! I think I’m past the worst of it now, but I want to apologize to my visitors and sponsors for the outage. I’ll be doing everything I can to make sure nothing like that happens again! I appreciate all of my GeoPrac supporters.
