Congress Passes FY 2018 Omnibus With Record Funding of Geoscience Agencies

The American Geosciences Institute has an interesting article on the recently passed Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018 which provides record funding for geoscience agencies.  This includes a $63M or 6% increase for the USGS compared to FY2017 levels, and similar increases at the BLM, NOAA, the NSF, and NASA.  Check out the article for more details.
