Geotechnical drilling has commenced for a massive Australian rail that will consist of Australia’s longest rail tunnel at 15.5km between Epping and Kellyville. The overall route will be 23km long. The investigations consist of 150 boreholes up to 15 cm in diameter and penetrating up to 75 meters. The geotechnical engineering consultant performing the work is Coffey Geotechnics.
