Nicholson Chief Engineer Tom Richards Retires After 30 Years

Tom Richards of Nichols - Retired Chief Engineer

Earlier this summer Nicholson marked the retirement of a legend in the geotechnical industry. Tom Richards, their Chief Engineer, retired in June after 30 years with the company.

He has led the design and testing efforts for hundreds of the most technically challenging projects in the country, including multiple projects for the recovery and reconstruction of the World Trade Center, the Capitol Visitor Center, Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, and several large dams, including Gilboa Dam and Lake Lynn Dam.

I’m sure his CV is a mile long with amazing geotechnical construction projects! Congratulations to Tom on this great occasion.
