Webinar: The Role of Data in Transforming Geotechnical Engineering: COGGE Series

We as geotechnical and geological engineers are in the midst of a data revolution. The way we collect, manage, and use data has changed dramatically over the past five to ten years, and I have no doubt it will continue to evolve. The National Academie’s Committee on Geological and Geotechnical Engineering (COGGE) is hosting a webinar on this topic – The Role of Data in Transforming Geotechnical Engineering. It will be on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 2 pm EDT. To register for free, use the link above.

The webinar will be moderated by Dr. Scott Anderson and will feature guest speakers Dr. Ellen M. Rathje of UT Austin, and Thomas Stanley of the Universities Space Research Association. I’m looking forward to it!
