The Geo-Institute recently published a recording of the 2021 Langan Lecture by Dr. Tugce Baser on energy piles. The G-I is publishing so much great free content these days, it’s actually quite difficult to keep up! This is another great lecture by a rising star in our industry, and on a topic of extreme importance when it comes to strategies to mitigate climate change.

Utah-based Raser Technologies has started development of two additional geothermal projects which will bring the total number of projects under development to seven. There are three projects in Nevada, two in Utah, one in New Mexico, and one in Oregon. The company has initiated approximately 75 MW of geothermal projects since April of 2007.
