The AGHP is sponsoring a webinar on Thursday, April 28 at 2pm EDT on snow avalanche dynamics and impact loading by Bruce Jamieson and Dave Gauthier. This webinar will provide an overview of snow avalanche dynamics and how avalanches develop their punch. This webinar will also include explanations of several videos of avalanches in motion. Dave Gauthier will compare the dynamics and impact of snow avalanches with other rapid slope hazards. Based on the impact of snow avalanches, a few mitigation options will be briefly outlined. Visit the AGHP for more information and to register.
