In ASFE Practice Alert 52, their Construction Materials Engineering and Testing Committee looks at changes in ACI Standard 301-10, Specification for Structural Concrete related to the initial curing of concrete test specimens in the field. The new language is ambiguous as to who is responsible for what, creating a potential for claims and/or delays. The document provides suggestions for CoMET consultants to avoid these issues.
