Not too many details here since I am not a subscriber to their magazine, but it does appear to be some much needed good news for the King County, WA (Seattle area) Brightwater treatment plant which was recently in the news for having two stuck TBM’s. From World Tunneling:

‘Elizabeth’, the Lovat RME184SE EPB TBM, is expected to achieve an imminent breakthrough at the Ballinger Way retrieval shaft at the end of its 6.4km bore on the Brightwater 4 (BT 4) tunnel contract in the US.
