Happy Belated Terzaghi Day! Every October 2, the geotechnical community remembers Karl Terzaghi on his birthday to commemorate his contributions to our profession and to civil engineering in general. This year, the Geo-Institute of ASCE is celebrating in a unique way. They are hosting a live stream event with Sergei Terzaghi, a civil engineer with Arup, as he reflects on his career and how his grandfather’s work has influenced him!
