Rocscience to Honor Harry Poulos

Geotechnical software company Rocscience will present Professor Harry Poulos with a Lifetime Achievement Award at their 2025 Conference in Sydney. The Rocscience International Conference 2025 (RIC2025) will be held April 6-8, 2025 and will be focused on the theme “Beyond the Surface: Deepening our Understanding of Geotechnical Challenges.” Abstract submissions will open in May.

Dr. Polous is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Sydney and a Senior Consultant with Tetra Tech Coffey in Sydney, Australia. He is renowned for his groundbreaking work in geotechnical engineering, highlighted by prestigious lectures such as the 1989 Rankine Lecture, the 2004 Terzaghi Lecture, and the 2009 Terzaghi Oration.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Polous has contributed to numerous landmark projects worldwide, including the iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai. His outstanding achievements have been recognized with numerous accolades, highlighting his exceptional contributions to engineering.
