A drilled shaft drill rig working at the site of a future York University subway station in Toronto, Canada toppled over and resulted in the death of a 24-year old man. The victim was an employee of a drilling company, but not the one that owned the rig. He was operating a front end loader at the time of the accident, and he was killed when the rig fell on and crushed the cab of his vehicle. Five other people were injured in the incident.
