Evert Hoek, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 ITA Tunneling Awards

Dr. Evert Hoek was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for 2018 by ITA Tunneling and Underground Space Association for his contributions to the field of rock mechanics.  The award ceremony was held in Chuzhou, China as part of the ITA tunneling awards and conference day.  The video below is a great overview of his life and career with interviews from the man himself,
