The video below from X user @githii shows a startling sight: what appears to be a foundation drill rig punched right through the crown of a subway tunnel in Istanbul, Turkey several days ago. Reportedly this occurred on the Mecidiyeköy-Istanbul Airport metro line, but the incident was detected almost immediately and trains were halted and electricity was shut off as a precaution so no injuries were reported.
