The geotechnical software company Deep Excavation has a nice entry on their blog about the cofferdams for the Tapan Zee Bridge in New York. Geotechnical firm Siefert Associates used the DeepExcav software to design the cofferdams which are needed to create the pile cap for the new bridge piers.
